EVALUATION IS REQUIRED BEFORE ENROLMENT IN ANY OF OUR SERVICES PROVIDED

Before any training begins, we start with 45 minutes to 1 hour evaluation. Every dog must go through an evaluation, this is a crucial step that allows me to properly assess your dog’s temperament, current behavior and any specific challenges you’re facing.

The evaluation gives me the opportunity to observe how your dog responds to new environments, people and stimuli. It also helps me understand what training approach will work best based on your dog’s personality, energy level and learning style.

Most importantly, it ensures that we set clear goals and expectations for your dog’s training journey and that we choose the right program trailered to your dog’s need.

Without an evaluation, we’d be guessing instead of planning. This step lays the foundation for real results and long-term success.

PUPPY BOARD & TRAIN PROGRAMS

               (UNDER 6 MONTHS)              

For puppies under 6 months old, this training focuses on building a strong foundation early. We work to create training such as potty routines, confidence building, socialization and introduction to leash and basic commands (sit, down, recall, place)

Our board & train program offers a fully immersive training experience where your dog lives in a structured environment designed to reset behavior, build clarity and establish consistent obedience both indoors and outdoors.

  • If I could give me more stars I would. I adopted a dog that I realized was way above my pay grade in training. I ended up doing the Board and Training after taking a couple classes with Christian. He was consistent with updates whether they were hitting target goals or communicating that he's going to try an alternate approach. Week after week I could see the dog's obedience change from being a little rascal to a very well behaved dog. It really feels like night and day from how the dog went in and how he came out. Christian and Jenny were great for the weekly meeting where they went over everything that was trained during the week and teaching me how to make sure I can maintain that after the dog comes home. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Blunt K9

  • Chris helped me with my super reactive dog, D, in ways I will forever be grateful for. D was super reactive towards other dogs of all sizes and breeds. She has a really high prey drive. She is a 40lb pebble girl that needed to learn boundaries in order to correct her undesirable behaviors. And she had a number of them. Pulling really badly on walks, jumping on people, attempting to attack other dogs, possessiveness of me in my home to the point I didn’t feel comfortable having people over. I adopted her from the Newark Animal Shelter. She came in as a stray, was in the shelter for 7 months and they knew little about her. When I brought her home I quickly learned about these undesirable behaviors and started to panic. Bringing her back was not an option so I invested in Chris’s knowledge and expertise. Along with D’Souza training, I learned while she did. He always let me know what they were working on and I got plenty of update videos throughout the process. Through the process, he taught me about her behavior, he commands he implemented and why as well as how this works to correct her behavior. 10 OUT OF 10 HIRE BLUNT K9. He has so many options to help you and your dog and he is so patient in working with you to figure out what you and your dog need in order to live healthy and happy lives together!
