Board & Train
Best suited for dogs with more significant behavioral challenges or owners who don’t have enough time for intensive daily training. Your dog stays with the trainer and receives multiple structured training sessions throughout the program.
Private Sessions
Best suited for owners who have the time to be directly involved in the training process and dogs with minor behavioral or obedience concerns.
Evaluation - $130
If a Board & Train is recommended based on your dog’s evaluation and you decide to move forward with the program, your $130 evaluation fee will be waived.

BOARD & TRAIN RECOMMENDATIONS
LOLA
Based on what we observed during Lola’s evaluation, we recommended our 5-Week Board & Train program. She struggled with impulse control, dog reactivity, leash pulling, jumping, crate training, car rides, and respecting boundaries at home. Lola needed a reset button, a structured environment where she could build better habits from the ground up. Through daily training, consistency, and clear communication, we gave her the foundation to make better choices and help her owners maintain that progress at home.
TYSON
Tyson joined Blunt K9 for a 6-week Board & Train Program to address reactivity, excessive barking, and leash pulling. Throughout his stay, we focused on building clear communication, structured obedience better leash manners, impulse control, and calmer responses around everyday triggers. Tyson made great progress toward becoming a more confident, manageable, and reliable companion.

Luca joined Blunt K9 for a 4-week Board & Train Program to address excessive leash pulling, excessive barking, and reactivity. DELILAH (DEE)
Dee joined Blunt K9 for our 6-week Board & Train program to address reactivity, aggression, and leash manners. Our goal was to give Dee a second chance and the opportunity to learn how to make better choices though structure, clear communication, and consistent training. Today, Dee is a completely different dog, and her progress continues at home with an owner who remains committed to maintaining structure and reinforcing her training every day.
PRIVATE SESSION RECOMMENDATIONS
Keanie
Keanie joined us for 6 private sessions, focusing on impulse control, basic obedience, and leash manners. Being a young puppy, Keanie had a lot to learn, but his owners had the time and most importantly, put in the effort outside of each session to help him succeed. With consistency, structure, and daily repetition at home, Kenie made great progress and showed what can be accomplish when owners stay committed and involve in the training process.
Frankie
Frankie was recommended five private training sessions to focus on minor impulse control. manners, and basic obedience. His brother, Luca, needed a more intensive approach and completed our 4-Week Board & Train Program to address more serious obedience and behavioral challenges.
Two dogs, two different training needs, and two personalized paths. With the right structure, guidance, and consistency, Frankie and Luca can now enjoy a more balanced life together with their family.
Jelly
Jelly, Cavapoochon, came to us needing help with minor impulse control, basic obedience, and loose-leash walking. His challenges didn’t require an intensive program; he simply needed the right structure and guidance.
Though private training, we focused on building better walking habits, improving communication, and giving his owner the tools to confidently continue his training at home. Now, walks with Jelly can be more structured, enjoyable, and stress-free for both of them.

The evaluation typically last 45-60 minutes. This give us enough time to observe your dog’s behavior, discuss your concerns and goals, and determine the right training program based on your dog’s individual needs.

Evaluations take place in a real-world environment, typically at a local park near you. We recommend choosing a busy park with people, dogs and everyday distractions so we observe how your dog responds naturally to their surroundings.

Yes, Proof of current vaccinations is required before the evaluation for the safety of your dog, our trainer and others. Vaccination records can be submitted through the intake form you’ll receive after booking your evaluation.

After the evaluation, we’ll discuss what we observed and recommend the training program that best fits your dog’s individual needs and your goals. You’ll receive clear next steps, program details and pricing so you can decide how you’d like to move forward.

No. The $130 evaluation fee is non-refundable, as the evaluation reserves dedicated time with the trainer to assess your dog’s behavior and training needs.
If a Board & Train program is recommended during your evaluation and you choose to move forward, the $130 evaluation fee will be waived toward the program cost. This waiver does NOT apply to Private Sessions.

Yes. We can evaluate aggressive and reactive dogs. For everyone’s safety, please let us know about any history of aggression or reactivity before your schedule evaluation, this allows our trainer to come prepared with the appropriate safety tools and equipment needed to safely assess your dog’s behavior.

Yes. You can bring more than one dog to the evaluation. Each dog will be evaluated individually so our trainer can properly assess their behavior needs. When two dogs are booked together through our evaluation Booking Page, the first dog is $130 and the second dog received a discounted rate of $30, for a total of $230 for both dogs.

No. There is no obligation to sign up for training after your evaluation. The evaluation is designed to assess your dog’s behavior, discuss your goals and determine the right training program for your dog’s individual needs. You’ll receive our recommendation, program details and pricing, and you can decide whether you’d like to move forward.
